The Kings Day Celebration was a great add-on to the Holland trip. The canal cruise was the highlight of the whole trip.

This trip was incredible. From seeing Dublin and Belfast to so much beauty at Slieve League and Achill Island, this was the complete package for anyone who wants to see the best of Ireland. It was especially fun to go to places that there weren't a lot of American tourists. I would highly recommend this route for anyone hoping to get a different flavor of Ireland that most Americans don't get. A+ for a first time to Ireland.

Shane and I had an unbelievable experience visiting Northern Ireland! On a scale of 1 to 10...it was a 12!!! Chris planned 2-3 things a day for our group to see do...visit a brewery or tasting room, do a walking tour...Dublin, Belfast..., make a proper Irish Coffee or design a Copper momento to display in your home...visit and walk around 5-6 cities for 2-3 hrs...before getting to that days destination city...and every day, either a group lunch or dinner together...to discuss that days or tomorrow's plans! A big bonus on the bus...was Chris kept it well stocked with local beers, ciders and soft drinks for free...as we traveled between destinations!!! The nightly hotel accommodations...were Superb...especially our night in Markree Castle in Collooney! WoW words cannot describe its beauty!!! But the thing my son and I found best about our 1st Beercation was...the leisurely pace of things...and each day...the free time we had to either stay with the group...or explore the cities on our own! Shane and I enjoyed our free time...playing pool at various places and getting used to only red and yellow balls plus 8 ball...smaller tables with pockets too...betting parlors to lay a few pounds on the horses lol...visiting charity rooms for great hidden jems! Stephen our Dublin resident bus driver...knew the ins/outs and short cuts of his country...and was a GREAT tour guide!!! The Titanic museum and seeing the dividing street walls of Catholics and Protestants...was seeing history upfront and close! What a way to end our last day in Ireland. I give 5 Shamrocks ☘️ to Chris and Beercations for an adventure of the lifetime! Can't wait to book another tour with them!

When I first discovered craft beer (and specifically Belgian beer) well over a decade ago, Chris was quite literally its ambassador. He was a Gulden Drak brewery ambassador, taught "Beer School", had connections to many well-known brewers, and regularly made pilgrimages to Europe to feed his passion for beer culture. His impressive knowledge of history, beer, culture, and brewing makes him a natural tour guide. If you enjoy eating, drinking, traveling, and learning about how our beer has shaped the world around us I strongly recommend traveling with Chris and the Pub Culture team.
