Join Pub Culture Beercations for a 13-night Ultimate Belgian Beercation and explore the best beer bars, pubs, and breweries across Belgium from September 9-22, 2026!
Starting in Brussels, Belgium, this tour will also visit Antwerp, Brugge, Ghent, Ieper, Kortrijk, and Houffalize.
Beyond visiting great breweries such as Cantillon, Westvleteren, St. Bernardus, Van Steenberge, Duvel, Fantome, A'Chouffe, Chimay, Orval, this tour will explore some of Belgium's WWI and WWII history. We will stop in Ypres and visit the WWI In Flanders Fields Museum, the Menin Gate, and Tyne Cot Cemetery, and trace the footsteps of American Soldiers - including EZ Company's "Band of Brothers" - during the Battle of the Bulge.
Plus, we are lucky to have popular food, beer, and travel writer/social media content creator, Ashlee McLaughlan, "The Beer Mama", joining us on this beercation!

Beercationers need to book their own round trip airfare. We recommend Brussels (BRU) Airport, but you might choose Paris (CDG) or Amsterdam (AMS), and then train to Antwerp.

Arriving a day early before the tour officially starts? Add a night in Mechlen with a beer-paired dinner. Make sure to add it on before checkout!

After landing at the Brussels International Airport (or another European airport of their choice, like maybe Amsterdam or Paris) beercationers will make their way to Mechelen, Belgium and the Het Anker Brewery and Hotel.
There will be a guided tour of the brewery in the afternoon, and a 3-course beer paired dinner that evening. After dinner, you can visit many of the wonderful small beer bars in town as you work to adjust yourself to the new time zone.
The next day we will take a train to Antwerp. (Train ticket NOT included)
Your beercation kicks off with a welcome toast, followed by some free time before we meet for our Ultimate Belgian Beercation Welcome Dinner.
We start our morning with a walking tour of Brussels, including a stop for group lunch. After our lunch, we will make our way to the Cantillon brewery for a private tour and tasting.
The remainder of your night is free to enjoy Brussels on a Saturday night!
Today, we depart Brussels for the Ardennes Forests of Wallonia and the small town of Houffalize, home of La Chouffe beer!
After checking into our hotel, you will have some free time to explore the little town, then we will visit the La Chouffe brewery and have a group dinner at one of their restaurants.
Today we will depart from Houffalize for Namur, where we will stop at the Orval Brewery for a tour and tasting, followed by a group lunch.
After arriving in Namur and checking into our hotel, the rest of your evening is free to enjoy this riverside city with amazing views!
Today we depart Brugge and head through the part of Belgium known for much of the major WWI Battles, and the "Flanders Fields". We will stop at the Flanders Field Museum in Ypres, visit the Mennen Gate, and pay our respects at Tyne Cot Cemetery. We also will stop at the St. Bernardus Brewery for a tour, tasting and lunch.
Later that afternoon we will arrive in Ghent, where we will stay for the next three nights, and check into our hotel.
The remainder of the night is free for you to explore this impressive city, with a lively nightlife thanks to the vibrant student population. An optional Pub Crawl with Tim Skelton will take place in the evening.
Today we will discover more about Ghent, and it's brewing history, with a walking tour of Ghent that will include a stop for a small bite of lunch. After our tour you will have free time before we board our bus to visit Brauwerij Van Steenberge for a tour, tasting and dinner.
With two of the three guides on this tour being Gulden Draak Ambassadors with the brewery - including Chris being the 2013 US Ambassador for the brewery, you will be treated to a special "Gulden Draak Ambassador Experience" including spending time with 6th generation brewer and owner, Jef Versele! This has been a favorite visit on all our past beercations to Belgium!
Following our tour and tasting at the brewery, we will have a group dinner at HopSpot.Ber, Brouwerij Van Steenberge's new microbrewery and beer-inspired restaurant!
After our amazing night at Van Steenberge, you have a free morning to relax and explore Ghent on your own, before we board our bus for a short drive and visit the monastery that brews what many consider "the best beer in the world" - Brouwerij de Sint-Sixtusabdij van Westvleteren!
After our lunch stop, we will return to Ghent and the remainder of your day is free to explore and enjoy this amazing city!
Today we will make our way to Antwerp, Belgium, first stopping at Brasserie Duvel-Moortgaat for a tour and tasting, before arriving in Antwerp.
Once checking into our hotel, you will have free time to relax, begin to pack, and explore Antwerp before our final group dinner at De Konnik Brewery's Black Smoke Restaurant.
After dinner, use your PubCulture.Beer digital maps to explore the Antwerp nightlife.
Today we will have a walking to of Antwerp in the morning, where you will discover all about this famous, Belgian port city, that played a major part in WWII, along with its rich medieval history and past and current importance to the world of Belgian beer.
After our walking tour, the remainder of the day is free until our Farewell Happy Hour Toast.
Try not to book return flights departing earlier than 11am* to allow time for a quick breakfast at the hotel before our bus departs for the Brussels Airport.
If you book a departure earlier or later than most of the group, you may have to arrange taxis or use public transportation at your own cost.
