About your trip

Holland. Often, what most people call all of the Netherlands, Holland, refers to just two provinces, and this beercation is focusing on them both - North and South Holland - for 9 nights!

With 3 nights in Amsterdam, 2 nights in Utrecht, 2 nights in Rotterdam, and 2 nights in Haarlem, beercationers will see what has made Amsterdam, and the rest of Holland, so iconic for travelers for centuries!

Explore Amsterdam three different ways - by foot, by bike, and by boat - as you dive into the Dutch craft beer scene.

Visit the university town of Utrecht, one of the oldest cities in all of the Netherlands, with a vibrant nightlife, popular regional breweries, and some of the best craft beer bars in Holland.

Explore the port city of Rotterdam, where not only will you find a city unlike any other in the Netherlands, but you will also find the port where the Mayflower left for the New World... yes, that's right, the pilgrims left from the Netherlands, after living there for 30 years after leaving England!

Round out your 9 nights in Holland visiting Haarlem, once one of the Netherlands' most prolific brewing cities, home to Jopen Brewery, the largest craft brewery in the country, and the brewery with one of the nation's most beautiful taprooms, and some of the best brown cafes you will find!

Participants will also get to experience the famous Keukenhof Gardens during the park's short opening season, when the tulips are in bloom and the Tulip Parade takes place.  We will also visit a working cheese farm and clog factory, and explore one of the largest collections of historical, functioning windmills in the Netherlands!  All the iconic images of Holland.  Plus, we will visit the port in Rotterdam, where the pilgrims boarded the Mayflower for the New World, as well as the town of Leiden, where they lived for 30 years after leaving England.
