After our tasting, we’ll roll into charming Sligo town for free time to explore its historic streets, grab a little lunch, and soak in the sights—perhaps the atmospheric Sligo Abbey, the dramatic backdrop of Benbulben (Yeats country!), or the ancient Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery.

Depart at 10:30am and journey into the mists of myth at Navan Fort (Emain Macha), one of Ulster’s most sacred royal sites and a powerful center for Samhain celebrations in ancient times. This legendary stronghold of the Ulster Cycle – home to tales of warriors, goddesses like Macha, and kings – was where the veil between worlds thinned, and failure to gather here on All Hallow’s Eve carried serious consequences. Feel the weight of history as you walk where Celtic spirits once roamed.

The rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to savor at your own pace. Grab your PubCulture.Beer Derry Digital Map and wander into the city’s vibrant nightlife—perfect timing to get into the Halloween “spirit” with festive pubs, live music, and that unmistakable Irish craic.
Start your day with breakfast at the Maldron Hotel, then hop aboard our private beercation bus for an unforgettable adventure along the wild Causeway Coast!
Perched dramatically on a basalt cliff overlooking the crashing Atlantic, Dunluce Castle is one of Ireland’s most romantic and haunting ruins. With roots stretching back to the 13th century and tales of clan rivalries, storms that swept kitchens into the sea, and legends of lost lovers, this cliff-side stronghold delivers epic photos and stories that will stay with you forever.
From there, we roll into the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery — Bushmills — for an immersive tour and tasting. Learn the craft behind Ireland’s iconic spirits, savor smooth sips, and raise a glass to good times with your fellow beercationers. A delicious group lunch follows.
Back at the hotel, the rest of the afternoon and evening are yours to explore Derry’s charming streets, grab dinner at a cozy pub, and soak in the growing Halloween energy.
As night falls, join the magic of Derry’s Halloween Parade — part of Europe’s largest and most celebrated Halloween festival, rooted deeply in ancient Celtic Samhain traditions. With massive crowds, spectacular costumes, street performers, lights, and fireworks, Derry truly earns its reputation as one of the world’s best places to celebrate Halloween!
After the parade, toast to an incredible journey on your final night in Northern Ireland.
After soaking in the spooky magic of Halloween in Derry, we’ll hit the scenic Coastal Highway and make our way back toward Dublin for the unforgettable final stretch of our Samhain Beercation.
Picture dramatic cliffs and crashing waves along the Antrim Coast as we head to the legendary Giant’s Causeway. You’ll have plenty of time to hike among the ancient basalt columns, marvel at nature’s raw power, snap epic photos, and refuel at the visitors’ center café—because every great adventure needs a proper pint (or coffee) break!
From there, we’ll stop at the atmospheric Dark Hedges for those iconic Game of Thrones-worthy photos before continuing our journey south.
Our final monolithic Samhain destination awaits at Brú na Bóinne and the ancient Newgrange Passage Tomb. Step inside this 5,000-year-old wonder for a guided tour, feel the weight of Celtic history and Samhain lore, and explore the visitors’ center (another great spot to grab a bite).
Then it's the final drive back to Dublin, where we’ll check into the comfortable Leonardo Hotel Christchurch and you’ll have time to freshen up before our festive final group dinner.
As the night unfolds, Dublin’s legendary pubs call our names—raising glasses, sharing stories, and toasting the incredible friendships and memories made on this mystical beercation.
As our unforgettable Emerald Isle Samhain Beercation draws to a close, savor a relaxed final full day steeped in Irish magic, mystery, and—of course—plenty of pints!
Wake up to a hearty breakfast at the hotel, then enjoy a free morning to pack at your leisure, hunt for last-minute treasures, wander through a museum, soak in some sightseeing, or simply unwind with a coffee - or pint - and the lively city vibes.
In the afternoon, we’ll venture into the Dublin Mountains for a truly spine-tingling visit to the legendary Hellfire Club. Perched atop Montpelier Hill, this 18th-century hunting lodge (built atop an ancient passage grave) earned its fearsome reputation as a gathering spot for the notorious Hellfire Club—an elite group whispered to dabble in debauchery, occult rituals, black masses, and even darker legends involving everything from devil worship to a fiery black cat spectre. Its haunted ruins make for one of Ireland’s most chilling paranormal sites—perfect for our Samhain-themed adventure!
We’ll return to the heart of Dublin for our grand finale: a Happy Hour Farewell Toast at the iconic Porterhouse Temple Bar, where we’ll raise glasses filled with exceptional craft beers, share appetizers, swap stories from our spooky beercation, and toast new friends and unforgettable memories.
